Create a plan file
A plan file is a short description of your future activities. It is
part of your profile and can be viewed when any user fingered you. A
".plan" file has to be created under your root home directory and must
have a world-wide read permision.
Create a signature file
The ".signature" file usually contains information about where you can
be reached or your affiliations. It will be automatically attached at
the bottom of your email message and USENET News postings. To create this
file:
Create a file called .signature. You can put information
like: your name, work address, phone numbers, your favorite quote,
etc..
change your password
To change your password:
type "passwd" at the shell prompt
Change your login shell
Use the command 'chsh' to change your login shell
Change your fingered information
Use the command 'chfn' to change your fingered information
Get on IRC (Internet Relay Chat)
If you want to specify a nickname before you get on IRC, follow
these directions:
type: irc {nick} {server}.
Check disk usage
To protect your mail or information to access your account, you
have to know your disk quota limit. At the shell prompt type:
quota or du
1024 kilobytes = 1 Megabyte.
Forward email to other address
At your home directory, create a filename called .forward then type in
whatever address you wish to forward your mail to.
Can someone outside fingers me?
Yes, but your account can be kept anonymous upon your request

Can I run CGI web application program?
Yes, you can run as long as your CGI does not harm or damage system
resource and security.
